A number of different types of Poker can be played with as many as eight players. A common form of Poker is Stud Poker.<\/p>\n<p>There are also many versions of Poker that feature betting intervals. Each betting interval begins with a bet from a player or a group of players. The bet can be a forced bet, a blind bet or an ante bet. The player or a group of players that places the bet is called the active player. During the interval, each player must place a number of chips in the pot equal to his or her contribution to the pot.<\/p>\n<p>If no other player makes a bet, the bet becomes a showdown. The player with the highest hand wins the pot. The remaining players reveal their hands and evaluate them. If no one has a better hand, the round ends.<\/p>\n<p>Poker is a popular card game. It is widely played in casinos, homes, and on the Internet. The game has gained in popularity because of the presence of hole-card cameras. This has made poker a spectator sport. Moreover, the popularity of Poker has increased due to the growth of online poker sites.<\/p>\n<p>A variety of variations exist, including Draw Poker, Three-Card Monte, Badugi, and Spit-in-the-Ocean. Each has its own rules. The basic rules of Poker include the following:<\/p>\n<p>There are two kinds of Poker: stud and draw. A stud poker game is played with a 52-card pack. It is played with a limit that is usually twice as high as the limit in a draw poker game.
